Awarded separately in each division, plus one community-voted People's Choice Award.
The top 10 finalists in each division also receive a Certificate of Achievement, and top winners are invited to exhibit their artwork at Artifacts Gallery for the full December run.
Eligible Work
Art of Faith is a physical, traditional visual-art exhibition. All submitted artwork must be the original work of the student entering.
Artwork must be able to be safely displayed in a professional gallery environment. Pieces that cannot be safely displayed — regardless of size — may be deemed ineligible for exhibition. Framing is not required.
Entering With a School or Youth Group?
Art teachers, churches, homeschool groups, and community youth organizations are encouraged to participate. Group leaders can reserve space for an estimated number of entries without submitting individual student information during the initial RSVP.

Any Memphis-area student currently in grades 9 through 12, including public, private, and homeschool students.
Yes. Homeschool students are welcome and can enter individually or through a homeschool group RSVP.
Yes. Students may RSVP individually as long as they are in grades 9–12, with or without school involvement.
Drawing, painting, illustration, mixed media, printmaking, and similar two-dimensional physical artwork.
No. AI-generated artwork is not eligible for the contest.
No. Photography is not eligible for the contest.

There are no strict size limits. However, artwork that cannot be safely displayed in a professional gallery environment — whether too large or too small — may be deemed ineligible for exhibition.

A panel of jurors reviews all eligible physical submissions in each division following the November 16 deadline.
Finalists are notified ahead of the Youth Awards Ceremony in mid-November.

Yes, if the family chooses to make it available for sale on the submission form.
The artist receives 100% of any sale proceeds. Art of Faith takes no commission.
